My first attemp of doing better portraits - With my new camera....very big improvement from Previoius efforts...
No Edit, even though it could do with a bit where the light has hit..But I wanted no edit.

This is my youngest Daughter who some of you have seen over the years, all of a sudden she has grown up, she has gotton into make-up and worrying about her appearance. She has beautiful skin already but insists on wearing foundation because she don't like her rosy cheeks, umm wonder where she got that from.....lol
We were going out for a meal for my parents 35th anniversary Saturday and she wanted to look glamorous so this is the result. With out looking at previous shots.
How old do you think?.......................Wait for it, 12......CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT......Shocked, yes well now a days you never know :faint:

As Much as I don't like children wearing makeup, in photography even the professionals have to use make-up lots of it, even on men, I was surprised on how much was used when I had my professional ones done....its very different from normal make up, its think, I mean the foundation has to be think to cover blemish, pours, and wrinkles and more than you would normally put on as the camera washes it out other wise, so that is why you don't like your normal holiday snap shots..but you love the professional ones ....So lots to learn there on Photography Make up -

But to me she will always look beautiful even without the make up.
Same as

It's A Girls Life :music: [link]

No, girls don’t just wanna have fun
We take it fast, take it slow, we can come undone
We’re so much more than a magazine, can’t you see
It’s a fight with society.

I’ve been living in a movie
So make believe
Tired of this script
I was losing me.

I’m rewriting
Happy endings, I realize
I take the pen
I control the lines.

Turn it up make it louder
Jammin' out alone
I love this song
Bout a boy who's proven wrong
I don't have many secrets
What I say best believe it
Oh, it feels so right
Living a girl's life

This is a song is for every girl
Who's ever felt the weight of the world
I've been there too, she's been there too, we've been there too

So just... Be YOU :rose:

Child photography sometimes came be sensitive, but
I don't mind fav's when it comes to children we can learn a lot from it, :+fav:'s in Advance....:rose:

:-) You do know that particularly in the 70's a lot of models were 14 thru 17 because their skin was still very young and fresh looking.
You have a very lovely daughter there.

It is amazing how much older a young lady can look with the application of makeup. Actually a bit scary.
It used to be that panchromatic makeups were the exception, and not the rule. I'd have to warn women to check their eye makeup, because it had a tendency to reflect back light... They looked like they had sunglass eyes.

a photo its still looks like hardly any on, sothere is certain types
of make to where and which I have researched...

:giggle: Alice doesn't even have any makeup anymore!

Yes she is beautiful enough she doesn't need it....
but in photography she would need some coverage to even
the tones ...

You know, I'd try that in the software. Just some simple softening. If you're really serious about it you might want this software... [link]

That is awesome software, and exackly
what one needs for portraits, I have rosey cheeks which with
age looks blemisihy in photos...and this
would be perfect ...but would it look like me if I did this...
as it takes away all the beauty spots and age....lol
but definately worth it for a career in portraits...
I will look into the cost...Thank you
