Walking To Existence

Another sunset while walking, this is at the top of my street,
which I thought went well with a friends poem and a song I heard
in a film I was watching -

Edited - it was darker so a touch of lightening the shades
was added so to see the fields better...

Walking

Walking – Head bent in contemplation
Hoping for profound inspiration
Wishing for the thoughts to come
Adding up ones life in a sum.

Thoughts alluding, feelings prevail
Flooding your body like a wind and a gale
Feelings of hatred, of pain and despair
Mixing with love, kindness and tenderly care.

The storm within raging - forces so high
Ripping your soul with a scream and a cry
wishing you could choose which one will reign
as cavernous feelings drive you insane.

A potent desire for logic and reason
But these emotions keep adding their treason
They won’t let you think, judge or assure
For such abysmal feelings there just isn’t a cure.

Normal – or so people tell you to be
But most of society just doesn’t see
How your feelings extend and persist
Until the end where you stop to exist.
